Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum netted a brace each as Liverpool thrashed Barcelona 4-0 in the reverse tie of their UCL semi-final clash on Tuesday night, May 7, at Anfield to book a place in the final on 4-3 aggregate.

The encounter saw Liverpool without the duo of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, as Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri made the starting XI

Origi netted the opening goal after seven minutes from close range after Jordan Henderson’s initial strike was saved.

Five minutes later, an unmarked Wijnaldum nodded home a superb cross from Shaqiri to make it 3-0 on the night as the home-ide leveled scores on aggregate.

In the 60th minute, Barca replaced Philippe Coutinho with Nelson Semedo before withdrawing Arturo Vidal for Arthur in the 70th minute.
